East Coast Event Management have been involved in Special Events since 1986 attracting crowds in the thousands.  A team of professionals dedicated to delivering a high level of entertainment, education and exposure for sponsors, organisations and public appeal.

Well, what can we say about 2020? The team at the Gold Coast Car Show, due to Federal and State Government restrictions, had to postpone our event last year. We missed seeing all our regulars but we are looking forward to 2021 and getting back into it! In the meantime, check out what was said about our 2019 Gold Coast Car Show below…

Wrap-Up and Reviews from 2019 Gold Coast Car Show

The 2019 Gold Coast Car Show ran over two days and kicked off Saturday at 11am with Cars & Caravans from the 50s-70s Retro era. Walk down memory lane saw Retro Displays such as VW Bugs, Kombi’s, Hot Rods and Retro Vintage Caravans. Ashely Lee’s Dance Company performed along with HiFidelity youth dance groups. Local Rock n Roll Dance Schools such as Gold Coast Rockers hosted the Dance Off Competitions and showed us how its all done! The fabulous “Jive Cats” along with” “Little Stevie and the Tail Fins” rocked the stage with a jam packed dance floor of all ages. The Monster Trucks & the ShowTime FMX crew performed freestyle jumps that made the crowd go Wow! Finishing with the Fireworks Spectacular which topped off the night with a bang!

Vintage Retro Caravans were a great Nostalgic look at camping. Innovative displays that can be hired out as bars and functions, weddings and events.

The Sunday Event saw record Exhibitors and crowds. Hundreds of Show Cars converged onto the Showgrounds early from 5.30am to get the best spots and showcase their pride and joy. Crowd pleasers included Hot Rods, American Muscle Cars, Lamborghini’s, Dragsters and more! The Proclaimer Tuff Truck saw a world first stunt – driving up and over a shipping container! 
The Bike Arena saw hundreds of recreational Bike riders display Custom Bikes, Harleys, Evo’s, European and Japanese models and more.
The Truck Arena always attracts a crowd with Prime Movers and Trucks of every kind displaying amazing graphics, polished chrome and lights – putting new meaning into the word “Bling”!

Trade Stalls included all facets of Auto Industry, Products, Services, Wares, Rockabilly Clothing, Kustom Kulture and Novelty Items. Local Charities such as the Mudgeeraba Fire Brigade, Child Vision & PTSD Dogs Charity, just to mention a few. Local band “Fat Albert” absolutely rocked the centre stage with all time Aussie Rock favourites.

A great day out for the whole family with Kiddy Carnival Rides ($20 unlimited rides), International Food Carts & loads of things to see and do.

Trophies were awarded for the Best Retro’s, Best Standard and Modified Vehicles. Other Awards for Bikes,Trucks,Caravans & the Dyno Competition amounted to 92 trophies.
