WHAT IS THE GOLD COAST CAR SHOW DOING TO MAKE IT A COVID SAFE EVENT?
We will be operating under a Covid-Safe Event Plan; currently under review and to be approved by Queensland Health.
We encourage you to purchase your ticket ONLINE and in advance; this will help to minimise queuing and person to person contact at the gate. At the gate we will have our unique QR Code for symptom-screening for staff, contractors, traders, caterers and other participants upon arrival and departure from the site.
The Gold Coast Car Show will be spaced out so you will have enough room to socially distance from other patrons.
Our MC will be broadcasting Public health messages over the PA system to remind you about your responsibilities regarding the Covid-Safe measures at the event, as well as remind you of our check-in and check-out code.
Cash handling will be avoided if possible. If cash handling is required, employees will wash or sanitise their hands frequently. POS terminals will be wiped down regularly.
As per normal, we will have separate entries and exits for our event.
WHAT WILL BE DIFFERENT AT THIS YEAR’S THE GOLD COAST CAR SHOW?
We will be extending the bar area with more shade and seating to accommodate the newest restrictions.
Our Mc will be reminding you to remain socially distanced throughout the event in line with the 1.5m Social Distancing requirements.
WILL THERE BE DANCING?
You will be welcome to dance, while maintaining 1.5m from other dancers.
This allocated dance area is classified as ‘outdoors’ under Queensland Health regulations.
WHAT ARE MY RESPONSIBILITIES AT THE EVENT?
All Attendees, Vendors and staff have a level of personal responsibility for their own welfare, as well as that of others around them in terms of limiting the transmission of COVID-19.
By attending The Gold Coast Car Show, you acknowledge and accept that there currently remains a possible risk of transmission of COVID-19. All visitors to the event are assumed to have assessed this risk of transmission in making the decision to attend the centre.

Our stalls will be spaced out more, and our stall holders are all Covid-Safe and encouraged to supply alcohol-based hand sanitiser.
Larger stalls will encourage a one-way flow of foot traffic through their stall.
